Seq. No.

The sequence in which the user-defined value should be listed in other activities where user-defined value is used (Integer). Ensure that the sequence number is a positive integer and is unique to the multiline.

If you have left the sequence number blank for all the multiline rows, the system rearranges the multiline rows in the alphabetical order of type. The system then automatically assigns a sequence number to each of them, in multiples of five, when you click the "Define” pushbutton.

Note: If you have left the sequence number blank for some of the multiline rows, the system arranges those rows in the alphabetical order of type. The system considers these rows to be the last in the sequence. The system then rearranges the rows in the ascending order of the sequence number and renumbers the rows with multiples of five.

User Defined Value

The unique identifier for the user-defined value (Alphanumeric, 30). Mandatory. This field can be a combination of characters and digits and cannot be left blank. Once created, this field cannot be modified.

Desc.

The textual description of the user-defined value (Alphanumeric, 150).

Status

Use the drop-down list box to set the status of the user-defined value. The system provides the options: “Active” and “Inactive”. Set the status as “Inactive” to disable the type from future reference in other activities. The system sets the status as “Active”, if you leave the field blank.

Remarks

Any additional information about the user-defined value (Alphanumeric, 255).

The system displays the following fields in the multiline:

Created By

The login ID of the user who created the user-defined value.

Created Date

The date on which the user-defined value was created.

Created Time

The time at which user-defined value was created.

Last Mod. By

The login ID of the user, who last modified the user-defined value.

Last Mod. Date

The date and time at which the user-defined value was last modified.

Last Mod. Time

The time at which the user-defined value was last modified.

Note: The system creates the user-defined values and generates the sequence numbers for those rows for which the sequence number has not been specified. In the multiline, the system displays the created and modified date and time, and the login ID of the user who created or modified the user-defined value.
