Maintain User Defined Fields – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to define values for user-defined fields in various activities. The system allows you to define values for the following fields:

• the user group types

• lockout or tagout procedure type

• lockout or tagout procedure category

• safety procedure type

• safety procedure category

• the user-defined field pertaining to activities relating to clearance request

• the user-defined field pertaining to activities relating to clearance permit

• the user-defined field pertaining to activities relating to hazards

• clearance permit category

• work completed type

You can select a partiacular field and define values for it. You can define a value using a unique code and provide a description and a status for it. You can also modify an already existing value. The system saves the values for the respective fields and stores the login ID of the user who created and modified the values along with the date and time of creation and modification.
