This page allow to select the clearance permit, which must be edited. Tell me more.
Select the “Edit Clearance Permit” link under the “EAM Clearance Permit System” business component.
The “Select Clearance Permit” page appears.
Enter the following field in the “Direct Entry” group box if you know the clearance permit to be edited:

The clearance permit to be edited (Alphanumeric, 30). |
Select the “Edit Clearance Permit” link, provided alongside, to edit its details.
To search for a clearance permit
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a clearance permit:

Clearance Permit |
The clearance permit to be edited (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter a clearance permit in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all clearance permits, which are similar to the clearance permit entered here. |

Reason |
The reason for which the clearance permit is created (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the reason in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all clearance permits, which are created for reasons similar to the reason entered here. |

Created By |
The employee ID of the user who has created the clearance permit (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the employee ID in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all clearance permits that are created by users whose employee IDs are similar to the employee ID entered here. |

CP On |
Use the drop-down list box to select the maintainable object on which the clearance permit was raised. The system provides the options “Equipment” or “Location”. Leave the field blank to retrieve clearance permits raised on both equipment and location. |

Code |
The equipment or location code for which the clearance permits were raised (Alphanumeric, 30). |

Ref. Doc. Type |
Use the drop-down list box to retrieve clearance permits raised based on a reference document. The system provides the options “Clearance Request”, “Calibration Order”, “Inspection Order” and “Work Order”. Leave the field blank to retrieve clearance permits raised irrespective of the reference documents. |

The number of the reference document based on which the clearance permit was raised (Alphanumeric, 18). |

Enter the following fields in the “Permit Validity Date” field to retrieve clearance permits based on the dates for which the clearance permit is valid:

The date from which the clearance permit is valid (Date Format). |

To |
The date till which the clearance permit is valid (Date Format). |
Enter the following fields in the “CP Date” field to retrieve clearance permits based on the dates within which the clearance permits were created:

From |
The starting date from which you wish to retrieve the clearance permits that are created (Date Format). |

To |
The date till which you wish to retrieve the clearance permits that are created (Date Format). |
Click the “Search” pushbutton.
Based on the search criteria entered the system retrieves the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

The clearance permit retrieved by the system. |

Reason |
The reason for which the clearance permit is created. |

Created By |
The login ID of the user who created the clearance permit. |

Name |
The name of the user who created the clearance permit. Name of the user will be retrieved only if this user login ID has been mapped to an Employee code in the “Create Roles and Rights Activity”. |

Created Date |
The date on which the clearance permit was created. |
|
Valid From |
The starting date from which the clearance permit is valid. |
|
Valid To |
The date till which the clearance permit is valid. |
|
Status |
The status of the clearance permit which can be “Fresh”. |
|
CP On |
The “Equipment” or “Location” for which the clearance permit was raised. |
|
Code |
The equipment or location code. |
|
Ref Doc Type |
The reference document based on which the clearance permit was created. It can be a “Work Order”, “Inspection Order”, “Calibration Order” or a “Clearance Request”. |

Selecting clearance permit for editing – An overview

You can select the clearance permit, which must be edited, in this page. You can enter the clearance permit directly. Otherwise you can carry out a search based on the following fields:
the clearance permit
the reason for which the permit is created
the employee ID of the user who created the clearance permit
the period for which the permit is valid
the period during which the clearance permit is created
Based on the filter criteria entered, the system retrieves the clearance permits that are in the “Fresh” status for editing.
