Edit Clearance Permit – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to edit the details of an existing clearance permit. You can also cancel a clearance permit that is in the “Fresh” status. On cancellation, the system changes the status of the clearance permit to “Canceled”. You can select the permit to be edited in the “Select Clearance Permit” page and edit the permit in the “Edit Clearance Permit” page.

Attach safety procedure to the clearance permit

You can attach safety procedure to the clearance permit. A Safety Procedure is a collection of hazards that are likely to occur while handling equipment or location and the set of precautions that must be taken in the event of the hazard.

• Use the “Attach Safety Procedure” page to attach the safety procedure to the clearance permit.
