This page allows you to edit the details of a clearance request. Tell me more.

The “Edit Clearance Request” page appears.

Clearance Request

The clearance request that must be edited (Alphanumeric, 30).

 

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the details of the clearance request.

Date

The date on which the clearance request is created.

Status

The status of the clearance request, which can be “Fresh”.

Reason

The reason for creating the clearance request (Alphanumeric, 150). You can modify the available reason.

The clearance request from which the details must be copied (Alphanumeric, 30).

Clearance Req From

The starting date from which clearance is required for carrying out maintenance on the equipment or location (Date Format). Mandatory.

 

Enter the time from which clearance is required (Time Format). If you leave this field blank, the system considers the current system time.

Note: Ensure that the date and time entered are not earlier than the current system date and time.

Clearance Req To

The date till which clearance is required for carrying out maintenance on the equipment or location (Date Format). Mandatory.

 

Enter the time till which clearance is required (Time Format). If you leave this field blank, the system considers the current system date.

Note: Ensure that the date and time entered are not earlier than the date and time entered in the “Clearance Req From” field.

Permit Type

Use the drop-down list box to modify the type of the permit. The system fills in this field with all the permit types that have been defined in the “Define Permit Types” activity and that are in the “Active” status. Leave the field blank, if you do not wish to specify any permit type.

Category

Use the drop-down list box to modify the category of the clearance request. The system fills in this field with all the categories that are defined in the “Maintain User Defined Fields” activity and that are in the “Active” status. Leave the field blank, if you do not wish to specify any category.

User Defined 1

Use the drop-down list box to select the user-defined field to modify. The system fills in this field with all the user-defined fields that have been defined in the “Maintain User Defined Fields” activity and that are in the “Active” status. Leave the filed blank, if you do not wish to specify any user-defined field.

User Defined 2

Information defined by the user Any additional information about the clearance request (Alphanumeric, 30).

Employee

Click this radio button and enter the  ID of the employee who raised the clearance request in the edit box alongside (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that the employee is already defined in the “Employee Information” business component of Ramco Human Resources Management Solutions and is in the “Current” status.

Contractor

Click this radio button and enter the ID of the contractor who raised the clearance request in the edit box alongside (Alphanumeric, 30).

Employee

Click this radio button and enter in the edit box alongside, the  ID of the employee who is responsible for holding the clearance permit (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that the employee is already defined in the  “Employee Information" business component of Ramco Human Resources Management Solution and is in the “Current” status.

Contractor

Click this radio button and enter in the edit box alongside the ID of the contractor who is responsible for holding the clearance permit (Alphanumeric, 30).

Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether the clearance request must be raised for a work order, an inspection order or a calibration order. The system provides the options: “Work Order”, “Calib Order” and “Insp. Order”. The system leaves the field blank, by default.

WO / IO / CO No.

The identifier of the work order, inspection order or calibration order based on which the clearance request is raised (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure the following:

 
  • If you have selected “Work Order” in the “Type” field, ensure that the number entered in this field is already defined as a work order in the “Create Work Order” activity of the “Work Order” business component and is in the “Scheduled” or “InProgress” status.

 
  • If you have selected “Insp. Order” in the “Type” field, ensure that the number entered in this field is already defined as an inspection order in the “Create Inspection Order” activity of the “Inspection Order” business component and is in the “Fresh” or “InProgress” status.

 
  • If you have selected “Calib. Order” in the “Type” field, ensure that the number entered here is already defined in the “Create Calibration Order” activity of the “Calibration Order” business component and is in the “Fresh” Status.

Note: Ensure that the numbers of the work orders, inspection orders or calibration orders is unique to the multiline.

The system displays the following field in the multiline:

Desc.

The description of the work order, calibration or inspection order.

Remarks

Any additional information about the clearance request being raised (Alphanumeric, 150).

Request On

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether the clearance request must be raised on equipment or location. The system provides the options: “Equipment” and “Location”. The system leaves the field blank, by default.

Code

The identifier of the equipment or location for which the clearance request is raised (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure the following:

 
  • If you have selected “Equipment” in the “Request On” field, ensure that the code entered here is already defined as equipment in the “Create Equipment” activity of the “Equipment Induction” business component and is in the “Active” status.

 
  • If you have selected “Location” in the “Request On” field, ensure that the code entered here is already defined as location in the “Create Location” activity of the “Maintenance Organization” business component and is in the “Active” status.

Desc.

The description of the equipment or location (Alphanumeric, 150).

Remarks

Any additional information about the clearance request (Alphanumeric, 150).

Note: Ensure that both the multilines are not left blank

Remarks

Any additional information on canceling the clearance request (Alphanumeric, 150).

Note: The system cancels the clearance request and sets the status of the request as “Canceled”.

The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Created By

The login ID of the user who created the clearance request.

Created Date

The date and time at which the clearance request is created.

Last Modified By

The login ID of the user who last modified the clearance request.

Last Modified Date

The date and time at which the clearance request is last modified.
