This page allow you to create a safety procedure with a unique code and provide a description and status for it. Tell me more.
Select the “Create Safety Procedure” link under the “EAM Clearance Permit System” business component.
The “Create Safety Procedure” page appears.
Enter the following field:

Safety Procedure |
A unique identifier of the safety procedure (Alphanumeric, 30). Mandatory. This field can be combination of charactersletters and digits. |

Enter the description of the safety procedure in the edit box alongside (Alphanumeric, 150) |

Enter the following fields in the “Copy” group box to copy the details from an existing procedure:

Safety Procedure |
The safety procedure from which you wish to copy the details (Alphanumeric, 30). |

Click the “Copy” pushbutton.
Note: The system copies the details of the procedure to the procedure that is being created.
Enter the following fields:

Procedure Category |
Use the drop-down list box to select the category of the safety procedure. The system lists all categories that have been defined in the “Maintain User Defined Fields” activity and which are in the “Active” status. Leave the field blank if you do not wish to specify any category for the procedure. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |

Procedure Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the safety procedure. The system lists all types that have been defined in the “Maintain User Defined Fields” activity and which are in the “Active” status. Leave the field blank if you do not wish to specify any procedure type. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the safety procedure. The system provides the options: “Active” and “Inactive”. Set the status as “Inactive” if you do not wish to refer to this safety procedure from other activities. If you leave the field blank, the system sets the status as “Active”. |
Enter the following fields in the “Hazard” multiline to specify hazards to the safety procedure:

Hazard |
The hazard specified as a part of the safety procedure (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that the hazard is already defined in the “Create Hazard” activity and is in the “Active” status. |

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the “Description” and “Hazard Type” fields in the multiline. |

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the hazard from which you wish to view the precautions.
Click the “Show Precautions” pushbutton.
The system displays the following field:

The system retrieves the following fields in the “Precautions” multiline:

Precautions |
The precaution that must be taken for preventing the selected hazard. |

Any additional information about the precaution. |
Click the “Create” pushbutton to create the safety procedure.
Note: The system creates the safety procedure with the hazards and precautions.
The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

The date and time at which the procedure was created. |

Last Modified By |
In this activity, the system displays the login ID of the user who created the safety procedure. |

Copy the details from an existing safety procedure
Copy the details from an existing safety procedure
You can create the safety procedure by copying the details from an existing safety procedure.
Enter the safety procedure from which details must be copied in the “From Safety Proc” field.
Click the “Copy” pushbutton.
The system creates a new safety procedure by copying the details from an existing procedure.
