This page allow you can select the hazard for viewing. Tell me more.
Select the “View Hazard Master” link under the “EAM Clearance Permit System” business component.
The “Select Hazard” page appears.
Enter the following field in the “Direct Entry” group box if you know the hazard to be viewed.

Hazard |
The hazard that must be viewed (Alphanumeric, 30). |
Select the “View Hazards” link provided alongside, to view the details of the hazard.
To search for a hazard
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a hazard.

Hazard |
The hazard that must be viewed (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the hazard in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all hazards that are similar to the hazard entered here. |

Desc. |
The description of the hazard (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all hazards whose descriptions are similar to the description entered here. |

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the hazard. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive”. Leave the field blank to retrieve hazards irrespective of the type. The system displays “Active”, by default. |

Hazard Type |
Use the drop-down list box to search based on the hazard type. The system lists all hazard types that have been defined in the “Define Hazard Types” activity and which are in the “Active” status. Leave the field blank to retrieve hazards irrespective of the hazard type. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |

Safety Procedure |
The safety procedure to which the hazard belongs (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the safety procedure in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all hazards belonging to safety procedures similar to the safety procedure entered here. |
Based on the search criteria entered, the system retrieves the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

The status of the hazard which can be “Active” or “Inactive”. |

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the hazard to be viewed.
Click the hyperlinked hazard to view its details.
Selecting hazard for viewing – An overview
You can select the hazard for viewing in this page. You can directly enter a hazard in this page. Otherwise you can carry out a search based on the hazard, its description, the safety procedure to which the hazard belongs, the hazard type and the status of the hazard. Based on the filter criteria entered the system retrieves the details of the hazard for viewing.
