Selecting lockout/tagout procedure for viewing

Select Lock Out / Tag Out Procedure

This page allows you to select the logout or tagout procedure that must be viewed. Tell me more.

Select the “View Lock Out / Tag Out Procedure” link under the “EAM Clearance Permit System” business component.

The “Select Lock Out / Tag Out Procedure” page appears.

Enter the following field in the “Direct Entry” group box if you know the lockout or tagout procedure to be viewed:

Procedure

The procedure to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 30).

Select the “View Lockout /Tagout Procedure” link provided alongside, to view the procedure.

To search for a lockout or tagout procedure

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for the procedure to be viewed:

Procedure	The procedure to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the procedure in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all lockout or tagout procedures that are similar to the procedure entered here.
Desc.	The description of the procedure (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all procedures with descriptions similar to the description entered here.
Status	Use the drop-down list box to search for procedures based on status. The system provides the options: “Active” and “Inactive”. Leave the field blank to retrieve procedures irrespective of the status. The system displays “Active”, by default.
Procedure On	Use the drop-down list box to select the maintainable object on which the procedure must be performed. The system provides the options: “Equipment” and “Location”. Leave the field blank to retrieve procedures that must be performed on equipment, location and any other equipment and location apart from the equipment and location that are defined. The system leaves the field blank, by default. The system retrieves all procedures that are attached to the maintainable object in the “Set Default Procedure” activity.
Code	The identifier of the equipment, location and other equipment (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the code in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all equipment and location whose codes are similar to the code entered here.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to search for a procedure.

Based on the filter criteria entered, the system retrieves the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

Procedure	The procedure retrieved by the system.
Desc.	The description of the procedure.
Procedure On	The maintainable object on which the procedure must be performed.
Code	The identifier of the maintainable object.
Status	The status of the procedure which can be “Active” or “Inactive”.

Click the hyperlinked procedure in the multiline to view its details.

This page allows you to select the logout or tagout procedure that must be viewed. You can directly enter the procedure to be viewed. Otherwise you can carry out a search based on the procedure, its description, status and the maintainable object on which the procedure must be carried out. Based on the filter criteria entered, the system retrieves the lockout or tagout procedures for viewing.
