To search for the calibration order
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for a calibration order:
|
Calib. Order |
The calibration order to be modified (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter all or part of the calibration order number. The system retrieves all calibration orders similar to the calibration order entered in this field. |
|
Desc. |
The description of the calibration order (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter all or part of the description. The system retrieves all calibration orders whose description is similar to the description entered here. |
|
Calib. Type |
Use the drop-down list box to retrieve calibration orders based on the calibration type. The system lists all the calibration types that are defined in the “Define Calibration Types” activity and which are in the “Active” status. Leave the field blank to retrieve calibration orders irrespective of their type. |
|
Eqp. |
The equipment on which calibration is done (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the identifier of the equipment on which the calibration order was raised, in full or specify it partially.. The system retrieves all calibration orders, which were raised on the equipment similar to the equipment entered here. |
|
Priority |
Use the drop-down list box to retrieve calibration orders based on priority. The system lists all priorities that are defined in the “Define Priority” activity of the “Maintenance Organization” business component and which are in the “Active” status. Leave the field blank to retrieve calibration orders irrespective of their priority. |
|
Calib.Sch.No |
The calibration schedule number based on which the calibration order was generated (Alphanumeric, 18). |
|
Task/Proc. |
Use the drop-down list box to retrieve calibration orders based on the tasks or standard procedures attached to them. The system displays the following options: |
| |
| |
|
Leave the field blank to retrieve calibration orders to which both tasks and standard procedures are attached. The system displays “SP” by default. | |
|
Code |
The task or standard procedure that must be performed for executing the calibration order (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the task or standard procedure code in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all calibration orders to which the specified task or standard procedure is attached. |
Enter the following in the “Calib. Date” field, to search for calibration orders raised during a specific period:
|
From |
The date starting from which calibration orders have been raised (Date Format). |
|
To |
The date till which calibration orders have been raised (Date Format). Ensure that the date entered in this field is greater than or equal to the date entered in the “From” field. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton, to search for the calibration orders.
The system retrieves the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:
|
Calib. Order |
The calibration order retrieved by the system. |
|
Desc. |
The description of the calibration order. |
|
Calib. Type |
The type of the calibration order. |
|
Eqp. |
The equipment on which calibration is done. |
|
Priority |
The level of importance assigned to the calibration order. |
|
Task / Proc. |
Indicates whether a task or procedure is attached to the calibration order. |
|
Code |
The code identifying the task or procedure that is attached to the calibration order. |
|
Calib. Date |
The date on which the calibration is done on the equipment. |
|
Calib. Sch. No |
The calibration schedule based on which the calibration order was generated. |
Click the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the calibration order(s) for editing, closing or canceling.
Select the hyperlinked calibration order in the multiline to edit its details.
To close the calibration order
Click the “Close CO” pushbutton to close the selected calibration orders.
Note: Before closing, ensure that you have specified the actual date on which the calibration is done and the validity period for the calibration.
In the “Option Settings” activity of the “Clearance Permit” business component, if you have specified that closure of calibration orders is not allowed without returning the clearance permits, the system will not allow you to close the calibration orders for which clearance permits exist in an “Issued” status.
The system closes the calibration orders and performs the following on closing:
Sets the status of the calibration orders to “Closed”.
If the calibration orders are raised from a calibration schedule of “interval” type, the system updates the calendar and usage based schedules as follows:
|
|
Calculates the next due date for the calendar based schedule by adding the actual date on which the calibration is done and the interval. |
|
|
Calculates the usage based schedule by adding the current parameter value and the interval. |
To cancel the calibration order
Click the “Cancel CO” pushbutton, to cancel the selected calibration orders.
The system cancels the calibration orders and sets the status of the calibration orders to “Cancelled”.
Selecting calibration order for editing – An overview
This page allows you to select a calibration order for editing. You can enter the calibration order directly, or search for a calibration order based on the following criteria:
The calibration order and its description
The calibration type and the priority
The equipment on which calibration is done
The calibration schedule number based on which the calibration order was created
The date range during which the equipment is calibrated
The system retrieves calibration orders that are in the “Fresh” status, based on the search criteria entered. You can then select the calibration orders for cancelling, closing or editing. When you cancel the calibration order, the system sets the status of the calibration order to “Cancelled”. When you close the calibration order, the system closes the calibration order and records the date on which the next calibration is due on the equipment. If the calibration orders are raised from a calibration schedule of ”Interval” type, the system updates the calendar and the usage based schedules as follows:
The system calculates the next due date for the calendar based schedule by adding the actual date on which the calibration is done and the interval.
The system calculates the usage based schedule by adding the current parameter value and the interval.
The system records the login ID of the user who has modified the calibration order and the date and time on which the calibration order is modified.
