Create User Defined Group – A summary of the activity

The user defined groups can be used for review, reporting purposes and to create preventive maintenance schedules for the equipments defined in the user-defined group.

This activity allows you to create a user-defined group. You can enter a unique code for the user-defined group and provide a description and status. You can associate any equipment that has already been defined in the “Create Equipment” activity of the “Equipment Induction” business component, to the user-defined group.

The system creates the user-defined group and sets the user-defined group creation date to the current server date and stores the name of the currently logged in user.
