Help On Equipment / Location Groups

In this screen, you can select the equipment or location group code by carrying out a search based on filter criteria such as the help on (Location / Equipment) , group type, status, its description and group code. The system retrieves the equipment or location group code based on the search criteria and displays the results in the multiline.

Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Eqp/Loc Group Code” field in the main screen.

The “Help On Equipment / Location Groups” page appears.

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Help On	Use the drop-down list to select the values. Possible selections are “Eqp. Group” and “Loc. Group”.
Group Type	Use the drop-down list to select the values. The values get populated based on the help on selected values. If “Eqp. Group” is selected then this field populated with the values “Failure Group”, “Ganged Group” or “User Defined Group”. If “Loc. Group” is selected then it is populated with “User Defined Group”.
Status	Use the drop-down list to select the status. Possible selections are “Active”, “Inactive” and “Blank”.
Desc.	Enter the description.
Group Code	Enter the code identifying the group.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.

The system fills in the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline, based on the filter criteria entered.

Note: If all the fields are left blank, the system retrieves all the equipment and locations in the multiline.

The system displays the following details in the “Search Results” multiline :-

Group Type	Displays the type of the group.
Group Code	Displays the code identifying the group.
Desc.	Displays the description.
Status	Displays the status.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the equipment or location.
Click the “Ok” pushbutton to transfer the selected details to the main screen.
