This page allows you to define the ganged group. Tell me more.
Select the “Create Ganged Group” link under the “Equipment Induction” business component.
The “Create Ganged Group” page appears.
Enter the following fields:

Ganged Group |
A unique identifier for the ganged group (Alphanumeric, 30). Mandatory. This can be a combination of characters and numbers. |

Enter the textual description of the ganged group in the edit box alongside (Alphanumeric, 150). |

Zoom facility available. |

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to set the status of the ganged group to “Active” or "Inactive”. The system displays “Active” by default. Set the status as “Inactive”, if you wish to disable the ganged group from future reference in other activities. |
Enter the following field in the “Equipment” multiline:

Eqp. |
The equipment to be included in the ganged group (Alphanumeric, 30). The equipment should have already been defined in the “Create Equipment” activity and should be in “Active” status. Also, the equipment should not be of type "Rotable”. |

Press <Enter>. The system displays the “Description“ field in the multiline. |
Note: Ensure that the equipment is unique within the multiline and across ganged groups. This means that single equipment cannot belong to multiple ganged groups.

The textual description of the equipment. |
Enter the following field:

Remarks |
Any additional remarks pertaining to the equipment. Typically, the reason for including the equipment in the ganged group can be entered here (Alphanumeric, 255). |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to select the equipment that you do not wish to include in the ganged group.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to remove the equipment from the ganged group.
Click the “Create” pushbutton to create the ganged group.
The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Created By |
The login ID of the user who created the ganged group. |

Created Date |
The date and time on which the ganged group is created. |

Last Modified By |
In this activity, this field contains the login ID of the user who created the ganged group. |

Last Modified Date |
In this activity, this field contains the date and time on which the ganged group is created. |
You can create a ganged group with a unique code and attach equipment to it.
Enter a unique code for the ganged group in the “Ganged Group” field.
Set the status of the ganged group to “Active” or “Inactive”.
Attach equipment to the ganged group in the “Equipment” field in the “Equipment” multiline.
Click the “Create” pushbutton to create the ganged group.
