In this page, you can select the parameter to be modified and view its details before modification. Tell me more.
Select the “Edit Parameter” link under the “Equipment Induction” business component.
The “Select Parameter” page appears.
Enter the following field in the "Direct Entry" group box, if you know the exact parameter to be modified:

Parameter |
The parameter for which the details are to be modified (Alphanumeric, 30). |
Select the “Edit Parameter” link provided alongside to modify the details of the parameter.
To search for a parameter
Enter the following filter criteria to search for a parameter. Data entry in these fields is optional:

Parameter |
The parameter to be modified (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the parameter in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all parameters whose values are similar to the value entered here. Leave the field blank to retrieve all parameters. The system leaves the field blank by default. |

Desc. |
The textual description of the parameter (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all parameters whose descriptions are similar to the description entered here. Leave the field blank to retrieve all parameters. |

Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the parameter. The system provides the options “Technical”, “Attribute”, “Range” and “Consumption”. The system retrieves all the parameters that are of the type selected in this field. Leave the field blank to retrieve parameters irrespective of their type. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |

UOM |
The unit of measurement of the parameter (Alphanumeric, 10). Enter this field only for range and consumption parameters. |

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the parameter. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive”. Leave the field blank to retrieve all the parameters irrespective of their status. The system sets the field to “Active” by default. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
The system displays the following fields in the multiline based on the filter criteria entered:

The type of the parameter, which can be “Technical”, “Attribute”, “Range” or “Consumption”. |

Click the hyperlinked parameter in the multiline, to edit its details. 
Selecting parameter for editing – An overview
You can modify the parameter details by directly typing the parameter, if you know the exact parameter to be modified. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the parameter, parameter description, parameter type, status and unit of measurement. Details of the parameter such as the parameter description, type, status and unit of measurement are displayed in the multiline.
