In this page, you can select the rotable for moving it form one placeholder to another. Tell me more.
Select the “Move Rotable” link under the “Equipment Induction” business component.
The “Select Rotable” page appears.
Enter the following field in the “Direct Entry” group box, if you know the exact rotable to be moved:

Rotable |
The rotable to be moved (Alphanumeric, 30). |
Select the “Move Rotable” link provided alongside, to move the rotable.
To search for a rotable
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for a rotable. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

Rotable |
The rotable to be moved (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the rotable in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the rotables similar to the value entered here. |

Desc. |
The description of the rotable (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the rotable with description similar to the description entered here. |

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the rotable to be moved. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive”. Leave the field blank to retrieve all the rotables, irrespective of their status. The system displays “Active” by default. |

Placeholder |
The placeholder of the rotable to be moved (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the placeholder in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all rotables that are attached to similar placeholders. |

Eqp. |
The equipment to which the rotable is attached (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the equipment in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all rotables, which are attached to similar equipment. |

Location |
The location to which the rotable belongs (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the location in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all rotables, which belong to similar locations. |
Note: If all the fields are left blank, the system retrieves all the rotables in the multiline.
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
The system fills in the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline, based on the filter criteria entered:

Click the hyperlinked rotable in the multiline, to move it from one placeholder to another.
Selecting rotable for moving – An overview
To select a rotable, you can enter the rotable directly. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the rotable, its description, status, the placeholder of the rotable, the equipment to which the placeholder is attached and location of the rotable. Based on the filter criteria entered, the system retrieves the rotable for recording its movement.
