This page allows you to specify off-line periods for the equipment. Tell me more.
Select the “Equipment Off-Line” link at the bottom of the “Edit Equipment” page.
The “Equipment OffLine” page appears.
Enter the following field, if you wish to specify offline period for an equipment other than the equipment entered in the previous page:

The equipment offline period must be defined (Alphanumeric, 30). |

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the offline period that is already defined for the equipment in the multiline. The description of the equipment is displayed alongside. |

PM Off-Line |
Check this box, if you wish to specify that preventive maintenance need not be carried out on the equipment during the off – line period. |

Inspection Off-Line |
Check this box, if you wish to specify that inspection need not be carried out on the equipment during the off – line period. |

Calib. Off-Line |
Check this box, if you wish to specify that calibration need not be carried out on the equipment during the off – line period. |

All |
Check this box, if you wish to specify that none of the above mentioned options, that is, preventive maintenance, inspection and calibration, need to be performed on the equipment during the off – line period. |
Enter the following fields in the “Off-Line” multiline, to define off-line periods for the equipment:

From Date |
The starting date from which maintenance need not be performed on the equipment (Date Format). |

To Date |
The date till which maintenance need not be carried out on the equipment (Date Format). |

Annual Recurring |
Use the drop-down list box to specify whether the maintenance need not be performed only for the current year or for all the subsequent years. The system provides the options “Yes” and “No”. |

Remarks |
Any additional information about the off-line period (Alphanumeric, 255). |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to select the off – line period that you wish to delete from the equipment.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the selected off – line period from the multiline.
Click the “Edit” pushbutton, to define off – line period for the equipment.
The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

The login ID of the user who created the equipment. |

The date and time on which the equipment was created. |

Last Modified By |
The login ID of the user who last modified the equipment. |

Last Modified Date |
The date and time on which the equipment was last modified. |
Defining the off-line period for the equipment – An overview
Off-line period refers to the period for which maintenance activities like preventive maintenance, inspection and calibration, need not be performed on the equipment.
You can define off-line periods for the equipment that is selected in the previous page. You can also enter an equipment code directly in this page and specify off-line periods for it.
You can define the off-line period by specifying the start date and end date of the period. You can also specify whether the off-line period is only for the current year or for every year. You can specify whether preventive maintenance or inspection or calibration need not be performed during the periods specified as off-line period. You also have the option of specifying that none of the above activities need to be performed on the equipment, during the off-line periods defined.

Set the “Annual Recurring” field to “Yes”, if you wish to apply the off-line period for every year.
Set the “Annual Recurring” field to “No”, if you wish to apply the off-line period only for the current year.
Specify the maintenance activities that need not be performed during the off-line period.
Check the “PM Off-Line” box, if you wish to specify that preventive maintenance need not be carried out.
Check the “Inspection Off-Line” box, to indicate that inspection need not be carried out.
Check the “Calibration Off-Line” box, to indicate that calibration need not be carried out.
Check the “All” box, to indicate that none of the above maintenance activities need to be carried out.
