Changing the source from which the parameter must be updated – An overview
A parameter value of the equipment can be updated from various sources. They are:
Manual – The parameter value must be updated manually.
RTI – The parameter value must be updated from the real time integration system.
Parent – The parameter value must be updated from the parameter value of its parent equipment.
Formula – The parameter value must be updated by a formula.
Parameter – The parameter (Consumption only) must be updated by a parameter (Attribute only).
This page allows you to specify the source from which parameter values can be updated. You can specify the source of updation for the parameters of the equipment selected in the previous page. You can also enter an equipment code directly in this page and update the source for its parameters. If you are specifying the source as “Formula”, you must also specify the formula by which the parameter must be updated.
