Viewing the spare parts hierarchy belonging to the spare structure attached to the equipment

This page allows you to view the spare structure hierarchy. Tell me more.

Select the “Spare Structure” link at the bottom of the “Edit Equipment” page.

The “Spare Structure” page appears.

Enter the following field, if you wish to view the spare structure attached to an equipment other than the equipment selected in the previous page:

Eqp.	The equipment for which spare structure must be viewed (Alphanumeric, 30).
	Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the “Spare Structure” field. The description of the equipment is displayed alongside.
	Zoom facility available.

The system displays the following field:

Spare Structure	The spare structure that is attached to the equipment.
	The description of the spare structure is displayed alongside.
	Zoom facility available.
Parent Structure	Use the drop-down list box to select the spare structure for which child spare structures must be viewed. The system leaves the field blank, when the page is launched for the first time. On clicking the “Next” pushbutton, the system fills this drop-down list box with the child spare structures in the multiline, sorted in the alphabetical order.

The system retrieves all the child spare structures belonging to the selected parent spare structure, in the “Children” multiline.

The system displays the following fields in the multiline:

Child Structure	The spare structure attached to the selected parent spare structure.
Desc.	The description of the spare structure.

Click the “Next” pushbutton, to fill the “Parent Structure” drop-down list box with the spare structures that are displayed in the multiline. Also, the system automatically lists the child spare structures of the first spare structure in the drop-down list box, in the multiline.

The system fills the “Parent Structure” drop-down list box with all the child spare structures in the multiline. The spare structures are listed in the alphabetical order and the first spare structure is displayed by default. The child spare structures belonging to this default spare structure are retrieved in the multiline.

Click the “Previous” pushbutton, to fill the “Parent Structure” drop-down list box with the spare structures that are in the previous level. Also, the system automatically lists the child spare structures of the first spare structure in the drop-down list box, in the multiline.

The system fills the “Parent Structure” drop-down list box with the spare structures defined at the previous level in the hierarchy. The spare structures are displayed in the alphabetical order and the first spare structure is displayed by default. The child spare structures belonging to this default location are retrieved in the multiline.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the “Children” multiline, to select the spare part for which you wish the spare parts that are attached.
Click the “Show Spare Parts” pushbutton, to retrieve in the “Spare Parts” multiline, the spare parts of the spare structure selected in the “Children” multiline.

The system retrieves the following fields in the “Spare Parts” multiline:

Item	The spare part that is attached to the selected spare structure.
Variant	The variant of the spare part.
Desc.	The textual description of the spare part.
Qty.	The number of spare parts that are attached.
Part Number	The reference number of the item, which is similar to the item and variant mentioned with respect to features, characteristics or functionality.
Remarks	Any additional information about the spare part being attached to the spare structure.

The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Created By	The login ID of the user who created the equipment.
Created Date	The date and time on which the equipment was created.
Last Modified By	The login ID of the user who last modified the equipment.
Last Modified Date	The date and time on which the equipment was last modified

Click the “Cancel” pushbutton, to return to the previous page.

Viewing the spare parts hierarchy belonging to the spare structure attached to the equipment – An overview

The system displays the spare parts that are attached to the spare structure, which is in turn attached to the equipment. You can view the spare parts details for the equipment in the previous page. You can also enter an equipment code directly in this page and view the spare structure attached to it.

The system retrieves in the “Children” multiline, the hierarchy of spare structure that is attached to the equipment. You can then select a spare structure from the multiline and view the spare parts attached to it in the “Spare Parts” multiline. The spare parts that are displayed can be utilized for carrying out maintenance activities on the equipment.

What you can do in this page

View the spare parts attached to the spare structure

Check the box in the “Select” column of the “Children” multiline, to select the spare structure.
Click the “Show Spare Parts” pushbutton.

The system retrieves the spare parts that are attached to the selected spare structure in the “Spare Parts” multiline.
