Select the “Equipment TSG” link at the bottom of the “Edit Equipment” page.
The “Equipment TSG” page appears.
If you wish to attach trouble shooting guides for an equipment other than the equipment selected in the main page, enter the following field:

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the trouble shooting guides that are already attached to the equipment. The description of the equipment is displayed alongside. |

The failure group to which the equipment belongs, as defined in the “Create Failure Group” activity of the “Trouble Shooting Guide” business component. The system leaves the field blank, if you have not associated the equipment to any failure group. |
The system lists the trouble shooting guides that are already attached to the equipment, in the multiline. You can modify or delete these details or add new trouble shooting guides.
Enter the following fields in the “Equipment Specific Trouble Shooting Guide” multiline, if you wish to attach trouble shooting guides to the equipment:

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to mark the trouble shooting guide for deletion from the equipment.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the trouble shooting guide from the equipment.
Click the “Edit” pushbutton, to attach the trouble shooting guides to the equipment.
The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Attaching trouble shooting guide to the equipment – An overview
A trouble shooting guide (TSG) consists of a list of standard problems that are commonly reported in the equipment and the corrective action to be taken for solving such problems. Whenever a problem or failure is reported in the equipment, you can identify the corrective action to be taken, by referring to the trouble shooting guide attached to the equipment.
Using this page, you can attach trouble shooting guides to the equipment selected in the main page. The system also allows you to directly enter an equipment code, other than the equipment selected in the main page, and attach the trouble shooting guides to it. You are provided with a help facility to select the trouble shooting guide. You can also enter any other additional information about attaching the trouble shooting guide to the equipment.
