This page allows you to view the additional details entered for the equipment selected in the main page. Tell me more.

The “Additional Equipment Details” page appears.

Equipment

The equipment for which you wish to view the additional details (Alphanumeric, 30).

 

Press <Enter>. The description of the equipment is displayed alongside.

 

Zoom facility available.

The system displays the following fields:

Equipment Type

The type of the equipment, which can be “Normal”, “Rotable” or “Tool”.

Purchase Order

The purchase order number of the equipment.

Vendor Name

The vendor or supplier of the equipment.

Purchase Date

The date on which the equipment was purchased.

Purchase Price

The purchase cost of the equipment.

Manufacturer

The name of the manufacturer of the equipment.

Mfg. Sr. No.

The serial number of the manufacturer.

MTBF Days

The mean time between failures in days.

Production Loss/Hr.

The production loss per hour when the equipment is down.

Landmark

The textual description of any physical landmark in the plant that helps in locating the equipment in the plant.

Eqp. Life

The life of the equipment in terms of the life parameter defined for the equipment.

Present Value

The present value of the life parameter.

Life Available

The available life of the equipment calculated as the difference between the equipment life and the present value of the life parameter. The system leaves the field blank, if the life parameter is not specified for the equipment.

Asset Structure

The asset structure from which the equipment was created. The system displays this field only if the equipment was created using an asset structure in the “Create Equipment from Asset Structure” activity.

Note: The asset structure is a template that serves as a structure to build hierarchies of equipment. It also contains all the possible characteristics of the equipment such as parameter group, failure group, troubleshooting guides and inspection points. When an equipment is created from an asset structure, then all the characteristics that are defined in the template is copied to the equipment.

The system displays the following in the “Warranty And Other Information” group box:

Warranty End Date

 The expiry date of the warranty for the equipment

Warranty For

 Indicates the applicability of the warranty. It could be “Parts” or “Services” or “Parts And Services”.

 

Warranty Provided By

The details regarding the warranty provider.  

Additional Information 1

Any additional information pertaining to the equipment.

Additional Information 2

Any additional information pertaining to the equipment.

Remarks

Any remarks regarding the warranty.

 

The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Created By

The log – in ID of the user who created the equipment.

Created Date

The date and time on which the equipment was created.

Last Modified By

The log – in ID of the user who last modified the equipment.

Last Modified Date

The date and time on which the equipment was last modified

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Viewing additional details recorded for the equipment – An overview

View Equipment - A summary of the activity

You can also directly enter equipment other than the equipment selected in the main page, and view its additional details.

You can view the purchase details of the equipment, such as the purchase order number, the vendor from whom the equipment has been purchased, the purchase date, the purchase price, the manufacturer of the equipment and the serial number of the manufacturer.

You can also view the mean time between failures (MTBF), the production loss per hour when the equipment breaks down, the date on which the warranty expires and any landmark to identify the physical location of the equipment in the plant. The life of the equipment in terms of its life parameter can also be viewed along with any other additional information relating to the maintenance of the equipment. If the equipment was created from an asset structure, the system displays the asset structure in this page.
