Select the “Edit Formula” link under the “Formula Builder” business component.
The “Select Formula” page appears.
Enter the following field in the “Direct Entry” group box, if you are aware of the formula to be modified:

The formula to be edited (Alphanumeric, 30). |
Select the “Edit Formula” link provided alongside, to edit the formula.
To search for a formula
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for a formula:

Formula |
The formula to be edited (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the formula in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all formulae, which are similar to the formula entered here. |

Desc. |
The description of the formula (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all formulae with similar description. |

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to search for formula based on the status. The system provides the options “Active” or “Inactive”. Leave the field blank to retrieve formula irrespective of the status. The system displays “Active”, by default. |

Formula Content |
The content of the formula (Alphanumeric, 255). You can enter the content in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all formulae with similar formula contents. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton.
The system retrieves the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

Status |
The status of the formula, which can be “Active” or “Inactive”. |

Selecting a formula for modification – An overview

You can enter a formula directly. Otherwise you can carry out a search based on the formula, its description, status and formula content. Based on the search criteria entered, the system retrieves the formula to be edited.
