Define Priority – A summary of the activity

This activity enables you to define the priority, which identifies the degree of importance or urgency of a work request or a work order. The execution of the work order, work request and task depend upon the priority, or the different levels of urgency and importance, attached to it.

You can enter a unique number to identify a priority and provide a description for it. You can specify the order (in number), which determines the sequence in which the priority should be displayed wherever the entire priority list is referred.

The system stores the priority and the login ID of the currently logged in user and sets the created date and time to the system date and time respectively.

You can also modify the details of priority that is already defined. Details such as the priority, status and remarks can be modified. The system stores the login ID of the currently logged in user and the date and time at which the priority was last modified.
