Using On Line Help

The “Define Location Types” page appears.

Note: When this page is invoked, the system lists all the location types that are already defined in the system, in the multiline. You can modify these details, if required.

Location Type

A unique identifier for the location type (Alphanumeric, 30). Mandatory. This field can be a combination of characters and numbers and cannot be left blank.

Desc.

The textual description of the location type (Alphanumeric, 150).

Status

Use the drop-down list box to set the status of the location type to “Active” or “Inactive”. The system sets the field to “Active” by default.

 

Set the status as “Inactive”, if you wish to disable this location type from future reference in other activities.

Note: If you leave this field blank, the system assigns the “Active” status to the location type.

Remarks

Any additional remarks pertaining to the location type. Typically, the reason for defining the location type can be entered here (Alphanumeric, 255).

The system fills in the following multiline fields on clicking the “Update” pushbutton:

Last Mod. By

The login ID of the user who last modified the location type details.

Last Mod. Date

The date on which the location type details were last modified.

Last Mod. Time

The time at which the location type details were last modified.

Created By

The login ID of the user who created the location type.

Created Date

The date on which the location type was created.

Created Time

The time at which the location type was created.

Note: The system creates the location types that are entered in the multiline.
