Attaching inspection points to location parameters – An overview
An inspection point is the physical point on the location, where the performance of the location is monitored with the help of parameters. A location can have more than one parameter, which can be monitored on more than one inspection point. Inspection points are defined for a location – parameter combination. The parameter for which the inspection point is attached must be of type “Range“ or “Attribute”.
You can attach inspection points to the parameter by specifying the inspection point, the value of the parameter on the inspection as on a specified date and time, and any additional information about attaching the inspection point to the parameter.
The system attaches the inspection points and records the login ID of the user who has attached the inspection point, along with the date and time at which the inspection point is being attached.
