Select the “Edit User Defined Group” link in the “Select User Defined Group” page. Alternatively, select the hyperlinked user-defined group code in the multiline of the same page.
The “Edit User Defined Group” page appears.
If you wish to retrieve the details of a user-defined group other than the user-defined group selected in the main page, enter the following field:

Group Code |
The user-defined group of locations for which the details must be modified (Alphanumeric, 30). This user-defined group should have been defined in the “Create User Defined Group” activity of the “Maintenance Organization” business component. |

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the details of the user-defined group. The description of the user-defined group is retrieved in the edit box alongside. You can modify the description (Alphanumeric, 150). |

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to modify the status of the user-defined group. The system provides the options “Active” or “Inactive”. Set the status to “Inactive” if you wish to disable the user-defined group from being referred in other activities. |
The system displays the details of the user-defined group, in the "Location” multiline.
Enter the following field in the ”Location” multiline, to add locations to the user-defined group:

Location Code |
The location to be associated to the user-defined group (Alphanumeric, 30). This location should have already been defined in the “Create location” activity and it should be in “Active” status. |

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the “Description” and “Status” fields in the multiline. |
The system fills in the following fields in the multiline:

The textual description of the user-defined group. |

Status |
The status of the location which could be “Active” or “Inactive”. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to remove the location from the user-defined group.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the locations marked for deletion.
Click the “Edit” pushbutton, to update the modified details of the user-defined group.
The system updates the details of the user-defined group and sets the “Last Modified By” field to the login ID of the currently logged in user and the “Last modified Date” field to the current date.
The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Editing user-defined group of locations – An overview
In this page, you can modify the details of the user-defined group of locations selected in the main page. You can also directly enter a user-defined group other than the user-defined group selected in the main page, and retrieve its details for modification. Details such as the user-defined group description and status can be modified. You can also add or remove locations belonging to the user-defined group. You can use the help facility to select the location to be included in the user-defined group.
The system updates the details of the user-defined group, sets the last modified date to the current server date and stores the login ID of the currently logged in user.

You can modify the following details of the user-defined group of locations:
Enter the modified description of the location group in the edit box alongside the “Group Code” field.
Modify the status of the location group to “Active” or “Inactive”.
Note: Set the status as “Inactive”, if you wish to disable the user-defined group from future reference in other activities.
Re-define the locations in the user-defined group, by adding or deleting location codes in the “Location” multiline.
Click the “Edit” pushbutton to update the details.
