In this page, you can select a planning group to be viewed. Tell me more
Select the “View Planning Group” link under the “EAM Maintenance Organization” business component.
The “Select Planning Group” page appears.
Enter the following field in the “Direct Entry” group box, if you know the exact planning group to be viewed:

Planning Group |
The planning group to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 30). |
Select the “View Planning Group” link provided alongside, to view the planning group details.
To search for a planning group
Enter the following filter criteria in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a planning group. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

Planning Group |
The planning group which must be viewed (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the planning group in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the planning groups that are similar to the value entered here. |

Desc. |
Enter the full or part of the description of the planning group to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 150). The system retrieves all the planning groups for which the descriptions are similar to the description entered here. |

Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the planning group to be viewed. The system retrieves all the planning groups that are of the type specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of planning groups irrespective of their type. The system leaves the field blank by default. |

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the planning group to be viewed. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive”. The system retrieves all the planning groups that are in the status specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of planning groups irrespective of their status. The system sets the field to “Active” by default. |
Note: If all the fields are left blank, the system retrieves all the planning groups in the multiline.
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
The system fills in the following fields in the ”Search Results” multiline, based on the filter criteria entered:

The user defined type of the planning group. |

The status of the planning group, which could be “Active” or “Inactive”. |

Selecting planning group for viewing – An overview
If you know the exact planning group to be viewed, you can directly enter it. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the planning group number, description type and the status. Based on the search criteria, the details of planning group such as planning group, description, type and the status are displayed in the multiline.
