This activity allows you to define the default settings for the various fields in the activities belonging to the “Preventive Maintenance” business component.

The “Set Option ” page appears.

If there is more than one preventive maintenance schedule and the following are similar for all the preventive maintenance schedules:

You can specify the number of work orders that must be generated for all the similar preventive maintenance schedules, by selecting any one of the radio buttons in the “WO Generation” group box:

Combine Same Tasks/SPs in One WO

Click this option if you wish the system to combine same tasks in various preventive maintenance schedules and generate a single work order.

Combine All Tasks/SPs in One WO

Click this option if you wish the system to combine all the tasks in various preventive maintenance schedules and generate a single work order.

All Tasks/SPs in Separate WOs

Click this option if you wish the system to generate separate work orders for every task in various preventive maintenance schedules.

Default Warehouse

The warehouse that must be considered as a default warehouse for the preventive maintenance schedules that are created (Alphanumeric, 10). If no warehouse has been specified in the “Create PM Schedules” activity, the warehouse entered in this field will be considered as the default warehouse of items required for preventive maintenance. Ensure that the warehouse has already been defined in the “Storage Administration”  business component of Ramco Corporate Solutions.

Default Item Status

Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the item that is required from the warehouse. The system fills in this field with all the item statuses that have been attached to the warehouse specified in the “Default Warehouse” field in the "Item Administration" business component of Ramco Corporate Solutions.

Max. Planning Horizon For WO Generation (Days).

The number of days for which work orders must be generated starting from the current system date (Decimal).

Note: The system displays an error if the period for which preventive maintenance work orders must be generated is more than the period specified in this field.
