This page allows you to select the preventive maintenance template to be edited. Tell me more.
Select the "Edit PM Template" under the "Preventive Maintenance" business component.
The "Select PM Template" page appears.
Enter the following field in the "Direct Entry" group box if you are aware of the preventive maintenance template to be edited:

The preventive maintenance template to be edited (Alphanumeric, 18). |
Click the "Edit PM Template" link provided alongside, to edit the preventive maintenance template.
To search for a preventive maintenance template
Enter the following fields in the Search Criteria group box

PM Template |
The preventive maintenance template to be edited (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the preventive maintenance template in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all preventive maintenance templates similar to the preventive maintenance template entered here. |

Desc. |
The description of the preventive maintenance template (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all preventive maintenance templates whose descriptions are similar to the description entered here. |

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to retrieve preventive maintenance templates based on the status. The system displays Active or Inactive. Leave the field blank to retrieve preventive maintenance templates irrespective of the status. The system displays Active, by default. |

Item |
The item for which preventive maintenance schedules must be raised based on the template (Alphanumeric, 32). You can enter the item in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all preventive maintenance templates, which are created for items similar to the item entered here. |

Variant |
The variant of the item (Alphanumeric, 8). You can enter the variant in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all preventive maintenance templates, which are raised on itemvariant combinations similar to the itemvariant combination entered here. |

Eqp. Group |
The equipment group of the equipment on which preventive maintenance schedules must be raised based on the template (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the equipment group in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all preventive maintenance templates, which are created for equipment groups similar to the equipment group entered here. |

Task/Proc. |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the task or procedure, which must be, performed as a part of the preventive maintenance. The system provides the options "Task" and "SP". Leave the field blank to retrieve preventive maintenance templates that raised preventive maintenance schedules on which tasks and procedures must be performed. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |

Code |
The task or procedure, which must be performed as a part of the preventive maintenance (Alphanumeric, 30). If you have specified Task in the Task/SP drop-down list box, ensure that you enter a task in this field. If you have specified SP in the drop-down list box, ensure that you enter a procedure in this field. |

Location Group |
The location group of the locations on which preventive maintenance schedules must be raised based on the template (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the location group in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all preventive maintenance templates, which are raised on location groups similar to the location group entered here. |

PM Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the preventive maintenance template for which you wish to retrieve the details. The system fills in all preventive maintenance types that have been defined in the Define PM Types activity and are in the Active and Inactive statuses. Leave the filed blank to retrieve preventive maintenance templates irrespective of the type. |

Work Group |
The work group that is responsible for carrying out the preventive maintenance (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the work group in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all preventive maintenance templates that raises preventive maintenance schedules, which must be carried out by work groups similar to the work group entered here. |

The work group that is responsible for carrying out the preventive maintenance
Based on the search criteria entered, the system retrieves the preventive maintenance templates from which you can select the template for editing.
