The item number of the equipment on which preventive maintenance schedules must be carried out based on the preventive maintenance template (Alphanumeric, 32). Help facility available. |
Variant |
The variant of the item (Alphanumeric, 8). |
Eqp. Group |
The equipment group of the equipment on which preventive maintenance schedules must be raised (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that the equipment group is already defined in the Create User Defined Group activity of the Equipment Induction business component and is in the Active status. |

Lead Time For WO Generation (Days) |
The number of days required for planning resources for the work order (Decimal). Ensure that the lead-time is not negative. The system displays 0, by default. |

WO Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the work order. The system fills in this field with all work order types that are defined in the Define WO Types activity and are in the Active status. Leave the field blank, if you do not wish to specify any work order type. |
WO Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the work order that must be created for carrying out the preventive maintenance. The system provides the options: Fresh, Waitappr, Approved and Scheduled. |
WO Priority |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the priority of the work order. The system lists all the priorities that have been defined in the Define Priority activity of the Maintenance Organization business component and are in the Active status. Leave the field blank, if you do not wish to specify any priority. |
Work Group |
The work group that is responsible for carrying out the preventive maintenance (Alphanumeric, 30). Mandatory. Ensure that the work group is already defined in the Create Work Group activity of the Work Group business component and is in the Active status. |

Duration (Hrs.) |
The number of hours required for the execution of the preventive maintenance schedule (Decimal). Ensure that the duration is positive. Also ensure that the duration is not less than the duration of the task or procedure that is specified in the Task/SP field. If you leave this field blank, the system considers the duration of the tasks or the procedure that is selected in the Task/SP field. |

The warehouse of the spare part, that will be defaulted to the work orders that have been created for preventive maintenance (Alphanumeric, 10). Ensure that the warehouse is already defined in the Storage Administration business component of Ramco Corporate Solutions. |
Item Status |
The status of the item, which belongs to the warehouse (Alphanumeric, 25). Ensure that the status is defined for the warehouse in the Item Administration business component of Ramco Corporate Solutions. |
Clearance |
Use the drop-down list box to specify whether clearance from specific authorities is required for carrying out the preventive maintenance. The system provides the options: Required and Not Required. |
Permit Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the permit required. The system lists all permit types that have been defined in the Define Permit Types activity of the Clearance Permit business component and are in the Active status. Leave the field blank, if you do not wish to specify any permit type. |
Click the Edit pushbutton to modify the preventive maintenance template.
Note: The system modifies the preventive maintenance template and saves the login ID of the user who modified the template along with the date and time of modification.
The system displays the following fields in the Record Statistics group box:

The date and time at which the template is created. |

The login ID of the user who last modified the preventive maintenance template. |

The item and the variant of the equipment for which preventive maintenance template is raised
The equipment group of the equipment for which preventive maintenance template is raised
The location group of the locations for which preventive maintenance template is raised
The task or procedure that must be carried out as a part of the preventive maintenance
The status and the type of the schedule
The planning or the lead-time that is required for the generation of the preventive maintenance work orders
The agency that must perform the preventive maintenance
You can modify the following details of the work orders that is raised for carrying out the preventive maintenance:
The type, priority, category and status of the work order
The work group that is responsible for carrying out the work order
The number of hours required for carrying out the work order
The condition of the equipment or location based on which the work order must be performed
The warehouse of the items that is required for carrying out the work order
The status of the item that is required from the warehouse
Whether clearance from production is required for carrying out the work order
The type of the clearance that is required for carrying out the work order
Create Equipment under Equipment Induction business component
Create Location under Maintenance Organization business component
Create Task or Create Procedure under Task business component
Create Work Group under Work Group business component
Specify whether clearance is required or not for carrying out the preventive maintenance
Specify whether clearance is required or not for carrying out the preventive maintenance
You can specify whether clearance from specific authorities is required for carrying out the work order that is raised based on the preventive maintenance schedule.
Set the Clearance field as Required if clearance is required.
Set the Clearance field as Not Required if clearance is not required.
If clearance is required, the system automatically generates a clearance request for carrying out the preventive maintenance work order. This is done when a work order, based on the preventive maintenance schedule, is generated.
