Creating inspection schedule template – An overview
This page allows you to create an inspection schedule template, which can be used for generating inspection orders for carrying out inspection on equipment or location. You can create an inspection schedule template using a unique code and provide a description and a status for it.
You must specify the work group that is responsible for the inspection, the type and category of the inspection template and the agency that is responsible for carrying out the inspection.
You can also specify the lead-time for carrying out the inspection. When the lead-time is specified, inspection orders will be generated for the inspection schedule taking into consideration the lead-time that is specified. For example, if the inspection is due to be performed on the 20th of every month and if a lead-time of 10 days is specified, the inspection order will be generated on the 10th of every month. The 10 days is taken as the lead-time for the inspection order.
You can also specify whether clearance from special authorities is required for carrying out the inspection. If clearance is required, you must specify the type of clearance permit that must raised.
The details of the parameters that are to be inspected must be specified along with the following details:
The parameter that must be inspected
The inspection point on which the parameter must be inspected
The task or procedure that must be performed for the inspection
Any special tool that is required for the inspection
The system creates the inspection schedule template and stores the login ID of the user who created the template along with the date and time at which it was created.
“Create Work Group” of “Work Group” business component
Specify whether clearance is required or not for carrying out the inspection
Specify whether clearance is required or not for carrying out the inspection
You can specify whether clearance from specific authorities is required for carrying out the inspection order that is raised based on the inspection schedule, which is in turn created from the inspection schedule template.
Set the “Clearance” field as “Required” if clearance is required.
Set the “Clearance” field as “Not Required” if clearance is not required.
If clearance is required, the system automatically generates a clearance request or permit for carrying out the inspection order. This is done when an inspection order, based on the inspection schedule, is generated..
