This activity allows you to create a route. A route is a physical path that is defined for carrying out the inspection and lubrication activities. Tell me more.
Select the “Create Route” link under the “Predictive Maintenance” business component.
The “Create Route” page appears.
Enter the following fields:

Route |
A unique identifier for the route (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter a combination of characters and numbers in this field. |

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the route. The system provides the options: “Active” and “Inactive”. Set the status as “Inactive”, if you do not wish to refer to the route in other activities. The system displays “Active”, by default. |

Desc. |
The description of the route (Alphanumeric, 150). |

Enter the following fields in the “Inspection Points” multiline:

Update On |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the maintainable object on which the inspection must be performed. The system provides the options: “Equipment” and “Location”. |

The equipment or location on which inspection must be performed (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure the following: |

Inspection Point |
The inspection point on the equipment or location where inspection must be carried out (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that the inspection point is already defined in the “Create Inspection Point” activity of the “Equipment Induction” business component and is in the “Active” status. Also ensure that the inspection point is attached to the “Equipment – Parameter” combination in the “Create Equipment” activity of “Equipment Induction” business component or the “Location – Parameter” combination in the “Create Location” activity of the “Maintenance Organization” business component respectively. Note: Ensure that the “Update On – Code – Inspection Point” combination is unique to the multiline.

Seq. No. |
The sequence in which the inspection must be done (Integer). Data entry in this field is mandatory if equipment or location is entered in the “Code” field. Ensure that the sequence number is a positive integer and is unique to the multiline. |

Remarks |
Any additional information about the route (Alphanumeric, 255). |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to delete the rows that you do not wish to include in the route.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the selected rows in the multiline.
Click the “Create” pushbutton to create the route.
Note: The system creates the route and displays the “Description” field in the multiline.
The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

The login ID of the user who created the route. |

The date and time at which the route was created. |

Last Modified By |
The login ID of the user who last modified the route. |

The date and time at which the route was last modified. |
