Selecting the inspection forecast to be renewed

Select Forecast - Inspection Jobs

This page allows you to select the forecast to be renewed. Tell me more.

Select the “Renew Forecast - Inspection Jobs” link under the “Predictive Maintenance” business component.

The “Select Forecast - Inspection Jobs” page appears.

Enter the following fields in the “Direct Entry” group box if you know the forecast number to be renewed:

Forecast No.

The number of the forecast to be renewed (Alphanumeric, 18).

Click the “Renew Forecast” link provided alongside, to renew the forecast.

To search for the forecast to be renewed

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a forecast number. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

Forecast No.	The number of the forecast to be renewed (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the forecast number in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all forecast numbers that are similar to the number entered here.
Desc.	The description of the forecast that is done (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all forecasts whose descriptions are similar to the description entered here.

Enter the following fields in the “Forecast Date” field to retrieve the forecasts that are done during a specified period:

From	The starting date from which you wish to retrieve the forecasts that are done (Date Format).
To	The date till which you wish to retrieve the forecasts that are done (Date Format). Ensure that the date entered in this field is equal to or later than the date entered in the “From” field.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to search for the forecasts.

Based on the search criteria entered, the system retrieves in the “Search Results” multiline, the details of the forecasts that are done during the specified period, in the “Search Results” multiline:

Forecast No.	The forecast number retrieved by the system.
Desc.	The description of the forecast.
Date	The date on which the forecast was done.

Click the hyperlinked forecast number in the multiline to renew the forecast.

Selecting the inspection forecast to be renewed – An overview

This page allows you to select the forecast to be renewed. You can enter the forecast number directly, or you can select the forecast number by carrying out a search based on the forecast number, its description and the period for which the forecast is done. Based on the filter criteria entered, the system retrieves details of the forecast.
