Renew Forecast - Inspection Jobs

This page allow you to renew a forecast that is already generated for a specified period. Tell me more.
Select the “Renew Forecast” link from the “Select Forecast – Inspection Jobs” page Alternatively, select the hyperlinked forecast number in the multiline of the same page.
The “Renew Forecast - Inspection Jobs” page appears.
Enter the following field if you wish to renew a forecast other than the forecast selected from the previous page.

Forecast |
The number of the forecast to be renewed (Alphanumeric, 18). |

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the details of the forecast done. |
The system displays the following field:

Date |
The date on which the forecast was done. |
Enter the following field:

Desc. |
The description of the forecast (Alphanumeric, 150). |

Status |
The status of the forecast. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Forecast Criteria” group box:

IS |
The inspection schedule for which due dates must be forecasted. |

Desc. |
The description of the inspection schedule. |
|
Inspection On |
The maintainable object on which the inspection schedule is raised. The system displays either “Equipment” or “Location”. |
|
Code |
The equipment or location for which inspection schedule has been raised. |
|
Work Group |
The work group that is responsible for carrying out the inspection order created from the schedule. |
|
Type |
The type of the inspection schedule. |
|
Category |
The category of the inspection schedule. |
The system displays the following in the “Due Date” field:

From |
The date starting from which the inspection schedules that are due are retrieved. |
|
To |
The date till which the inspection schedules that are due are retrieved. |
Click the “Renew Forecast” pushbutton to renew the forecast
Note: The system renews the forecast process and updates the "Status" field with the renewed status of the process.
Click the “Abort” pushbutton to abort the renewal process.
Note: You can abort a forecast process only when it is in the “Pending” or "In Progress" status. The system aborts the forecast process and updates the “Status" field as “Cancelled”.

You can renew a forecast that is already generated for a specified period. You can renew a forecast that is selected from the previous page. You can also enter a forecast directly in this page and renew it. The system retrieves the forecast criteria for which the forecast was generated. Apart from renewing the forecast, you can modify the description of the forecast and refresh the forecast.
You can also abort an ongoing forecast process in this page.
The system stores the details of the renewed forecast along with the login ID of the user who has renewed the forecast along with the date and time of renewal.
