Updating inspection schedules that are created based on the template

Update Associated Inspection Schedules

This activity allows you to update the details of the inspection schedules that are created. Tell me more.

Select the “Update Associated Schedules” link from the “Inspection Schedule Template” page.

The “Update Associated Inspection Schedules” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

IS Template	The inspection schedule template number for which schedules must be updated.
	The system displays the description of the template alongside.
	Zoom facility available

The system displays the following fields in the “Associated Sch.” multiline:

IS	The inspection schedule that was created from the inspection schedule template.
Desc.	The description of the inspection schedule.
Status	The status of the schedule, which can be “Active” or “Inactive”.
Inspection On	The maintainable object on which the inspection must be performed. The system displays “Equipment” or “Location”.
Code	The equipment or location on which inspection must be performed.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to select those schedules that you wish to update based on any changes made to the template.
Click the “Update” pushbutton to update the details of the schedule based on the template.

Updating inspection schedules that are created based on the template – An overview

This activity allows you to update the details of the inspection schedules that are created based on the inspection schedule templates. You can update the schedules with the changes that are made to the template, from which the schedule was created. For the inspection schedule template that you have selected in the previous page, the system retrieves all the schedules that have been created based on it. You can then select the schedules and then update them.
