This page allows you to select the route for editing. You can enter the route directly, or you can carry out a search based on the route, its description, the equipment or location which is a part of the route and the status of the route. Based on the filter criteria entered, the system retrieves the routes for modification.
Select the “Edit Route” link under the “Predictive Maintenance” business component.
The “Select Route” page appears.
Enter the following field in the “Direct Entry” group box:

Route |
The route that must be edited (Alphanumeric, 30). |
Click the “Edit Route” link provided alongside, to edit the route.
To search for a route
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Route |
The route that must be edited (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the route in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all routes similar to the route entered here. |

Desc. |
The description of the route (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all routes whose descriptions are similar to the description entered here. |

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to retrieve routes based on the status. The system provides the options: “Active” and “Inactive”. Leave the field blank, to retrieve routes irrespective of the status. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |

Containing |
Use the drop-down list box to retrieve the routes based on the equipment or location, which is contained in the route. The system provides the options: “Equipment” and “Location”. Leave the field blank, to retrieve routes which contain both equipment and location. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |

Code |
The equipment or location on which inspection must be performed as a part of the route (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the code in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all equipment and locations having codes similar to the code entered here. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton.
The system retrieves the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

The status of the route, which can be “Active” or “Inactive”. |
Click the hyperlinked route in the multiline, to edit its details.
