Selecting parameter for resetting meter

This page allows you to select a parameter for resetting its meter. Tell me more.

Select the "Reset Meter” link under the “Parameter Log” business component.

The “Select Parameter” page appears.

To search for a parameter

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for the parameter:

Update On	Use the drop-down list box to specify whether you wish to reset the meter of a parameter belonging to an equipment or location. The system provides the options “Equipment” and “Location”. The system displays “Equipment”, by default.
Code	The identifier of the equipment or location for which parameter must be reset (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the code in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all equipment or location containing code that is similar to the code entered here.
Location	The location of the equipment (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the location in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all equipment associated to the location similar to the location entered here.
Desc.	The description of the equipment or location (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all equipment and location with description that is similar to the description entered here.
Parameter	The parameter of the equipment or location for which you wish to reset the meter (Alphanumeric, 30). The system retrieves the all equipment or location to which parameters similar to the parameter entered here is attached.

Click the “Search” pushbutton, to search for the equipment or location.

The system retrieves the equipment along with the consumption parameters that are attached to it, in the “Search Results” multiline:

Code	The equipment or location retrieved by the system.
Desc.	The description of the equipment or location.
Parameter	The consumption parameter retrieved by the system.
Desc.	The description of the parameter.

Click the hyperlinked parameter in the multiline to reset its meter.

Selecting parameter for resetting meter – An overview

This page allows you to select the parameter for resetting its meter. You can select the parameter by carrying out a search based on the equipment or location for which the parameter must be reset, the description of the equipment or location, the location of the equipment and the parameter that must be reset. Based on the filter criteria entered, the system retrieves the consumption parameter along with the equipment or location for the purpose of resetting its meter.
