Reset Meter – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to manually reset the meter from which the value for a consumption parameter is updated. Meter Reset can happen in the following cases:

Meter Rollover

When the last reading or the capacity of the meter is reached and the reading must start afresh from zero.

Meter Forced Reset

When the meter must be reset before the full capacity of the meter is reached. For example, when the equipment is calibrated, its meter is reset after the calibration is done, even before its full capacity is reached.

Meter Replacement

When a new meter replaces the existing meter that is used for recording the consumption parameter.
