Basics of using a Ramco iEnterprise Series 4.0 web page

Using Online Help

This activity is used for mapping  the parameters of the equipment/location to a  Business Entity-Location combination.

The “Formula Configuration” page appears.

*      - Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help page of the respective field. In the header the mandatory fields are represented as bold and in the multiline the mandatory columns are either bold or displayed in a color other than black.

Business Entity

The business entity to which the parameter of the equipment/location is to be mapped. The various business entities are  

  • Power –  To capture the power generated by the Power Plant

  • Planned Outage –  To capture the planned outages in the plant

  • Forced Outage – To capture the unexpected outages in the plant such as an equipment breakdown

  • Capacity –  To capture the capacity of the equipment

  • Gas Cons – To capture the gas consumed by the power plant to generate power

  • Coal Cons – To captures the coal consumed by the power plant to generate power

  • Biomass Cons – To capture the biomass consumed by the power plant to generate power

  • Gas Cal – To capture the calorific value of the gas used to produce power

  • Coal Cal – To capture the calorific value of the coal used to produce power

  • Biomass Cal – To capture the calorific value of the biomass used to produce power

  • Stand By – To capture the stand by time of the equipment   

  • Export – To capture the power that has been exported out of the power plant

  • Import – To capture the power that has been imported to the power plant          

Note: In the above field, you can either enter the Business Entity or select from the list edit provided. When you type in the first character or first few characters, the list edit opens up with the similar Business Entities from which you can select the required business entity.

The system displays the following:

Entity Desc.

The description of the business entity.

Parent Location

The location of the equipment.

Performance Indicator

Select the check box to indicate that the business entity is included as a performance indicator.

Equipment/Location

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether the parameter is mapped to Equipment or Location. The combo is loaded with the options “Equipment” and “Location”.

Code

The code identifying the equipment/location.

Business Entity

Use the drop-down list box to select the business entity. The combo will be loaded with all the unique Business Entities saved against the login OU.

Parameter

The parameter that is to be mapped to the Equipment/Location.

The system displays the following in the multiline:

UOM

The unit of measurement of the parameter.

Remarks

Any remarks regarding the mapping of the parameter to Equipment/Location.

The system saves the mapping of the parameter to the equipment/location.

The system ensures that for a selected business entity, the Parameters and its UoM, mapped to equipment /location, is same for all the rows.

Note: Portal users can view the Power Generation Summary of the Plant. Based on the Level, Code and Date provided, the system will display the Performance Indicator along with their Value, UOM, Month to Date and Year to Date details.

The system displays the following fields in the “Data History” group box:

Created By

The login ID of the user who created the formula configuration details for a specific business entity

Created Date

The date and time at which the formula configuration was created for a specific business entity

Modified By

The login ID of the user who modified the formula configuration for a specific business entity

Modified Date

The date and time at which the formula configuration was modified for a specific business entity
