View Detectability/Safety Ratings – An overview
In this page, you can view the detectability and safety ratings defined for the equipment and for the problems that occur on the equipment. You can specify the equipment and view its detectability and safety ratings.
The detectability rating is on a scale of 1 to 10, which indicates the probability of detecting problems as and when they occur on the equipment. You can also view the detectability ratings defined for the problems that occur on the equipment. A higher detectability rating indicates that problems are difficult to detect on the equipment whereas a lower detectability rating indicates that problems can be easily detected on the equipment.
The safety rating is on a scale of 1 to 10, which indicates the safety implications of the equipment. You can also view the safety ratings defined for the problems that occur on the equipment, which could lead to the failure of the equipment. A higher safety rating indicates that the failure of the equipment could be hazardous and could be fatal, whereas a lower safety rating indicates a lesser hazard.
