This page allows you to select a procedure to be modified. If you are aware of the procedure to be modified, you can enter it directly. Otherwise you can carry out a search based on the procedure description, procedure type and status. You can also carry out a search for retrieving procedures that were revised during a particular period, by specifying the revised dates as the filter criteria. Select the “Modify Procedure” link under the “Task” business component.
The “Select Procedure” page appears.
Enter the following field in the “Direct Entry” group box, if you know the procedure to be modified:

The procedure for which the details are to be modified (Alphanumeric, 30). |
Select the “Edit Procedure” link provided alongside, to modify the procedure information.
To search for a procedure
Enter the following filter criteria to search for a procedure. Data entry in the following fields is optional:
Procedure |
The procedure for which the details are to be modified (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the procedure in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the procedures that are similar to the values entered here. |
Desc. |
The description of the procedure to be modified (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the procedures whose description is similar to the description entered here. |
Status |
The status of the procedure to be modified, which could be “Active” or “Inactive”. The system retrieves all the procedures that are in the status specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of procedures irrespective of their status. The system displays “Active” by default. |
Procedure Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the procedure to be modified. The system displays all the types, which are defined in the “Define Task Types” activity. The system retrieves all the procedures whose type is similar to the value selected here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of all procedures irrespective of their type. The system leaves the field blank by default. |
Enter the following fields to carry out a search based on the “Revised Date” field:
From Date |
The date starting from which you wish to retrieve the procedures that have undergone revision (Date Format). Leave the field blank if you wish to retrieve the latest revisions of all procedures that are created. |
To Date |
The date until which you wish to retrieve the procedures that have undergone revision (Date Format) Leave the field blank to retrieve the latest revisions of all procedures that are created till the current date. |
Note: If all the fields are left blank, the system lists all the procedures of the latest revision, in the multiline .
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
The system fills in the following fields in the ”Search Results” multiline, based on the filter criteria entered:
