This page allows you to select a task to be modified. You can enter the task to be modified directly. Otherwise you can carry out a search for a routine or a non-routine task, based on the task, its description, task type and task status. The results of the search are displayed in the multiline from which you can select the task to be modified
Select the “Edit Task” link under the “Task” business component.
The “Select Task” page appears.
Enter the following field in the “Direct Entry” group box, if you are aware of the exact task to be modified:

The task to be edited (Alphanumeric, 30). |
Select the “Edit Task” link provided alongside, to edit the details of the task.
To search for a task
Enter the following fields to search for a task:
Task |
The task to be modified (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the task number in full or specify it partially. The system displays all the tasks similar to the task entered here. Leave the field blank to retrieve all tasks. |
Task Desc. |
The textual description of the task (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system displays all the tasks whose descriptions are similar to the description entered here. Leave the field blank to retrieve all tasks. |
Task Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the task to be modified. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive”. Leave the field blank to retrieve tasks irrespective of their status. The system displays “Active” by default. |
Task Type |
Use the drop-down list box to identify the type of the task. The system lists all types that are in “Active” status, as defined in the “Define Task Types” activity The system leaves the field blank by default. |
Routine Task |
Use the drop-down list box and set the field to “Yes”, if you wish to search for routine tasks. Set the field to “No” if you wish to search for non-routine tasks. Leave the field blank to retrieve all routine and non-routine tasks. The system displays “Yes” by default. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
The system displays the following fields in the mulitline, based on the filter criteria entered:

The type of the task. |
Routine |
The system displays “Yes”, if the task is a routine task and “No”, if the task is a non-routine task. |
Status |
The status of the task, which can be “Active” or “Inactive”. |
