In this page, you can associate tools to the selected work group. Tell me more
Select the “Associate Tools” link in the “Select Work Group” page. Alternatively, select the hyperlinked work group in the multiline of the same page.
The “Attach Tools” page appears.
Enter the following field if you wish to associate tools to a work group other than the work group selected in the main page:

Work Group |
The work group to which tools must be associated (Alphanumeric, 30). |

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves all the details of the work group. |

The system displays the following fields:

Status |
The status of the work group, which can be “Active” or “Inactive”. |
|
Planning Group |
The planning group responsible for planning the activities of the work group. |
|
The description of the planning group is displayed alongside. |
|

Type |
The type of the work group. |
If you have already associated tools to the work group, the details of those tools are displayed in the multiline.
You can associate more tools to the work group by entering the following fields in the “Tools” multiline:

Tool Code |
The tool to be associated to the work group (Alphanumeric, 30) Mandatory. Ensure that the tool has already been defined in the “Define Tool” activity of the “Tools” business component. |

Tool Serial No. |
The unique serial number identifying the particular tool to be associated to the work group. |

The system fills in the following field:

Desc. |
The description of the tool as defined in the “Define Tool” activity of the ”Tools” business component. |
Enter the following fields in the “Tools” multiline:

Qty. (Nos.) |
The total number of tools to be associated to the work group (Integer). Mandatory. Ensure that the number is a positive integer. |
Note: If the “Tool Serial No.” field is entered, the system assumes the quantity as ‘one’ since a serial number uniquely identifies a single piece of tool for the given tool code. If the “Tool Serial No.” field is not entered, you can specify any positive number in the “Quantity in Nos.” field, subject to the maximum available quantity.

Remarks |
Any additional information about the tool in the context of the given work group (Alphanumeric, 80). |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to mark the tools to be removed from the work group.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to remove the tools from the work group.
Click the “Update” pushbutton, to associate the tools to the work group.
The system displays the following details in the “Record Statistics” group box:

The login ID of the user who created the work group. |

Created Date |
The date and time at which the work group was created. |

Last Modified By |
The login ID of the user who last edited this information |
|
Last Modified Date |
The date and time at which the information was last edited. |
In this page, you can associate tools to the selected work group for carrying out the maintenance work, and also delete tools that are already associated to the work group. Tools can be associated to the work group selected in the “Select Work Group” page. The system also allows you to directly enter a work group other than the work group selected in the main page, and associate tools to it.
