Select the “View Work Group Information” link under the “Work Group” business component.
The “Select Work Group” page appears.
Enter the following field in the “Direct Entry” group box, if you know the exact work group for which you wish to view the details:

Work Group |
The work group for which you wish to view the details (Alphanumeric, 30). |
Select the “View Employees In Work Group” link provided alongside, to view the employees associated to the work group.
To search for a work group
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a work group:

Work Group |
The work group for which you wish to view the details (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the work group in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the work groups whose values are similar to the values entered here. Leave the field blank to retrieve all the work groups. |

Desc. |
The description of the work group (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all work groups with similar descriptions. |

Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the work group. The system lists all the types that are defined in the “Define common type” activity of the “Maintenance Organization” business component. Leave the field blank to retrieve all the work group types. The system leaves the field blank by default. |

Group Leader |
The group leader of the work group (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the group leader in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all work groups whose group leader is similar to the group leader entered here. |

Planning Group |
The planning group to which the work group belongs (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the planning group in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the work groups, belonging to planning groups whose values are similar to the values entered here. Leave the field blank to retrieve work groups that belong to all planning groups. |

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the work group. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive”. Leave the field blank to retrieve all the work groups irrespective of their status. The system displays “Active” by default. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
Note: The system retrieves all the work groups if all the fields are left blank.
The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline based on the filter criteria entered:

Click the hyperlinked work group in the multiline, to view the employees associated to the work group.
Select Work Group – An overview
If you know the exact work group that is already defined in the “Create Work Group” activity, you can directly enter it. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the work group, its description, type, the group leader of the work group, planning group and the status. The results of the search are displayed in the multiline, from which you can select the work group to view the details.
