This activity allows you to define the default settings for the various fields in the activities belonging to the “Work Order” business component. Tell me more.

Stock Costing Method

Use the drop-down list box to specify the costing method for stock deliverables that are fabricated in the maintenance department. The system provides the following options:

 
  • Standard Cost – Select this option if you wish to specify the standard costing method that is defined in the inventory for the stock deliverables.

 
  • User Specified Cost – Select this option if you wish to specify the cost for the stock deliverables.

 

The system displays “Standard Costing”, by default.

Update Eqp. Spare Parts List On Closing Of WO

Check this box if you wish the system to automatically update the equipment spare parts list with the actual spare parts that were utilized when the maintenance activity on the equipment was carried out, on closure of the work order. The system updates the spare parts list only with the spare parts that were not already specified for the equipment. Leave the box unchecked if you do not wish to allow the updation of equipment spare parts list on closure of work order.

Finance Book ID

Use the drop-down list box to select the finance book ID which will be used for account code generation. The system lists all finance book IDs that are created in the “Create Finance Book” or  “Edit Finance Book” activity of the “Organization Set Up” business component of Ramco Corporate Solutions.

The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Created By

The login ID of the user who set the options.

Created Date

The date and time at which the options were set.

Last Modified By

The login ID of the user who last modified the options.

Last Modified Date

The date and time at which the options were last modified.
