Secondary Equipment / Locations
This page allows you to specify the secondary equipment or locations on which work must be performed as a part of the work order. You can specify details such as the equipment or location on which work must be performed and any additional information.
Select the “Secondary Equipment / Locations” link from the bottom of the “Create Work Order” or “Edit Work Order” page.
The “Secondary Equipment / Locations” page appears.

The work order for which secondary equipment or locations have to be specified. |

The date on which the work order was created. |
Desc. |
The description of the work order. |
Zoom facility available |

WO Status |
The status of the work order. |
WO On |
The maintainable object on which the work order is created, which can be “Equipment” or “Location”. |
Code |
The identifier of the equipment or location on which the work order is raised. |
The description of the equipment or location is displayed alongside. |

Work Group |
The work group that is responsible for carrying out the work order. |
Total Est. Cost |
The total estimated cost of the work order. |
Enter the following fields in the “Equipment/Locations” multiline:

Use the drop-down list box to indicate whether the maintainable object is equipment or a location. The system provides the options: “Equipment” and “Location”. |
Code |
The equipment or location on which work must be carried out as a part of the work order (Alphanumeric, 30). If you are specifying equipment, ensure that the equipment is already defined in the “Create Equipment” activity of the “Equipment Induction” business component. If you are specifying a location, ensure that the location is already defined in the “Create Location” activity of the “Maintenance Organization” business component and is in the “Active” status. Also ensure that the location is a part of the primary system as defined in the “Define Primary System” activity of the “Maintenance Organization” business component. |

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the description of the equipment or location alongside. |

Note: Ensure that the “Equipment / Location? – Code” combination is unique to the multiline.
Enter the following field in the multiline:

Any additional information about the equipment or location being specified for the work order (Alphanumeric, 255). |
Zoom facility available |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the equipment or locations for deletion so that they are not specified in the work order.
Click the Delete icon in the toolbar above the multiline to delete the selected equipment or locations.
Click the “Modify” pushbutton to update the equipment or location details.
The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box.
Created By |
The login ID of the user who created the work order. |
Created Date |
The date and time at which the work order was created. |
Last Modified By |
The login ID of the user who last modified the work order. |
Last Modified Date |
The date and time at which the work order was last modified. |
Click the “Cancel” pushbutton to return to the previous page.

You can specify the other equipment or locations on which work must be performed as a part of the work order.
Specify whether the maintainable object is “Equipment” or a “Location” in the “Equipment/Location?” field in the “Equipment/Locations” multiline.
Specify the equipment or location in the “Code” field in the multiline.
Click the “Edit” pushbutton.
