This page allows you to specify other resources for the work order as well for the tasks that belong to the work order. Tell me more.
Select the “Other Resources” link from the bottom of the “Create Work Order” or the “Edit Work Order” page.
The “Other Resources Requirement” page appears.
The system displays the following fields:
WO No. |
The work order for which other resources have to be specified. |
Date |
The date on which the work order was created. |
Desc. |
The description of the work order. |

The status of the work order, which can be “Fresh” or “Waitappr”. |
WO On |
The maintainable object on which the work order was created, which can be “Equipment” or “Location”. |
Code |
The identifier of the equipment or location on which the work order is raised. |
The description of the equipment or location is displayed alongside. |

Work Group |
The work group that is responsible for carrying out the work order. |
Total Est. Cost |
The total estimated cost of the work order. |
Enter the following field:
Select Task |
Use the drop-down list box and select “Additional Requirements”, to specify other resources to the work order. If you wish to specify other resources for a task, select the appropriate task from the drop-down list box. The system displays “Additional Requirements” by default. |
The system displays the description of the selected task alongside. |

The system retrieves in the “Other Res.” multiline, the other resources that are already specified for the work order. You can add more resources by entering the following fields in the multiline:

The resource to be specified for the (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that the resource has already been defined in the “Define Other Resource“ activity of the “Work Group” business component and is in the “Active” status. This field cannot be modified. |

Qty. |
The number of resources required for the completion of the work order (Decimal). Ensure that the quantity is positive. |

The number of the hours for which the resource is required (Decimal). Ensure that the duration is positive. |
Press <Enter>. |
The system displays the following fields:
Rate |
The rate per hour of utilizing the resource. |
Est. Cost |
The total estimated cost of utilizing the resource. |
Enter the following field in the multiline:
Notes |
Any additional information about utilizing the resource (Alphanumeric, 255). |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the resources that you wish to delete from the work order.
Click the Delete icon in the toolbar above the multiline to remove the resources from the work order.
Click the “Modify” pushbutton to re-specify the resources in the work order.
Note: The system updates the resource details for the work order.
The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box.

The date and time at which the work order was created. |

The login ID of the user who last modified the work order. |

Specifying other resources for the work order – An overview
This page allows you to specify other resources for the work order as well for the tasks that belong to the work order. You can specify resources to the work order that are selected in the main page.
You can enter the resource directly or select a resource using the help facility. You can also modify the details of the existing resources that have already been specified in the work order. Details such as the number of hours for which the resource is required, the number of resources required, the usage type specified for the resource and any additional information specified for the resource can be modified.
Based on the details specified for the resource the system ascertains the rate per hour of utilizing the resource and the total estimated cost of utilizing the resource.
You can also delete an existing resource from the work order or from the tasks that belong to the work order.

You can specify the other resource requirements of the work order in this page.
Enter the resource that is required in the “Resource” field in the “Other Resources” multiline.
Enter the number of resources required in the “Quantity” field and the number of hours for which the resource is required in the “Duration (Hrs)” field.
Click the “Modify” pushbutton.
