This page allows you to define the delay code and enter a description and status for it.
Select the “Define Delay Codes” link under the “EAM Work Order Execution” business component.
The “Create Delay Codes ” page appears.
Note: When this page is invoked, the system lists the delay codes that are already defined in the system, in the multiline. You can modify these details, if required.
Enter the following fields in the “Delay Code Details“ multiline:
Delay Code |
The unique identifier for the delay code (Alphanumeric, 30). Mandatory. This field can be a combination of characters and digits and cannot be left blank. Once created, this field cannot be modified. |
Desc. |
The textual description of the delay. This field should not be left blank (Alphanumeric, 150). |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the delay code as either “Active” or “Inactive”. |
Note: If you leave this field blank, the system assigns the “Active” status to the delay code.
Seq. No. |
The sequence in which the delay codes should be listed wherever the entire list of delay codes is referred to. (Integer). Ensure that the sequence number is a positive integer and is unique to the multiline |
If you have left the sequence number blank for all the multiline rows, the system rearranges the multiline rows in the alphabetical order of the delay codes and automatically assigns a sequence number to each of them, in multiples of five, when you click the ”Submit” pushbutton.
Note: If you have left the sequence number blank for some of the multiline rows, the system arranges those rows in the alphabetical order of the delay codes, and numbers these rows to be the last in the sequence. The system then rearranges the rows in the ascending order of the sequence number and renumbers the rows with multiples of five.
The system displays the following fields when you click the “Submit” pushbutton:
Last Mod. By |
The login ID of the user who last modified the delay code details. |
Last Mod. Date |
The date on which the delay code details were last modified. |
Last Mod. Time |
The time at which the delay code details were last modified. |
Created By |
The login ID of the user who created the delay code. |
Created Date |
The date on which the delay code was created. |
Created Time |
The time at which the delay code was created. |
Click the “Submit” pushbutton to update the delay code details.
Note: The system creates the delay codes and generates the sequence numbers for those rows for which the sequence number has not been specified.
