This page allows you to make a selective reservation of an item across work orders. Tell me more.
Select the “Selective Reservation” link from the bottom of the “Reserve Parts” page.
The “Selective Reservation” page appears.
Enter the following fields to selectively reserve an item other than the item selected in the previous page:

The item that you want to selectively reserve (Alphanumeric, 32). Ensure that the item is a disposition item. |

The variant of the item (Alphanumeric, 8). |

Press <Enter>. |

The system retrieves the work orders for which the item has been reserved in the “Item Details” multiline: |

Task |
If the item has been reserved for a task, the system displays the task here. |

WO Status |
The status of the work order. |

Sch. Date |
The date on which the work order is scheduled to start. |

Problem Qty. |
The problem quantity. |
Enter the following fields in the multiline:

Remove Qty. |
The quantity that must be removed from being reserved (Decimal). Ensure that the quantity entered here is not more than the quantity displayed in the “Reserve Qty.” field. |

Add Qty. |
The quantity that must be additionally reserved (Decimal). |
Note: You can enter either the “Remove Qty.” field or the “Add Qty.” field.
The system displays the following fields:

The quantity that was reserved. |

Warehouse |
The warehouse from which the item is reserved. |
|
Item Status |
The status of the item in the warehouse. |
|
Issue Qty. |
The quantity that was already issued for the work order. |
|
PR Qty. |
The quantity for which purchase request was raised. |
|
Est. Qty. |
The quantity that was estimated for the work order. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the work order for which selective reservation must be done.
Click the “Save Reservation Details” pushbutton to save the reservation done.
The system does the following:
If a quantity is entered in the “Remove Qty.” field in the multiline, the system reduces this quantity from the already reserved quantity for the item and refreshes the “Reserve Qty.” field in the multiline.
If a quantity is entered in the “Add Qty.” field, the system adds the quantity to the already reserved quantity. If the reservation could not be made before and if there already exists a problem quantity in the “Prob. Qty.” field, the system adds this quantity to the already existing problem quantity and refreshes the “Prob. Qty.” field.
Selectively reserving spare parts – An overview
This page allows you to make a selective reservation of an item across work orders to which the item has been allocated. You can selectively reserve the item that you have selected in the “Reserve Parts” page. You can also enter an item directly in this page and reserve it selectively across work orders to which the item has been assigned.
The system retrieves all the work orders to which the item has been allocated in the multiline. You can then add quantities of the item from one work order and reserve it for another work order. The system automatically adds or reduces the reserved quantity of the item that is required for carrying out the work order.

Enter the quantity that must be removed from being reserved for a work order in the “Remove Qty.” field.
Click the “Save Reservation Details” pushbutton.
Enter the quantity that must be added to the reserved quantity of the work order in the “Add Qty.” field.
