Selectively reserving spare parts – An overview

Reserve Parts - A summary of the activity

This page allows you to make a selective reservation of an item across work orders to which the item has been allocated. You can selectively reserve the item that you have selected in the “Reserve Parts” page. You can also enter an item directly in this page and reserve it selectively across work orders to which the item has been assigned.

The system retrieves all the work orders to which the item has been allocated in the multiline. You can then add quantities of the item from one work order and reserve it for another work order. The system automatically adds or reduces the reserved quantity of the item that is required for carrying out the work order.
