This page allows you to view the workload as a percentage assigned to the employees. Tell me more.

Skill

The skill for which you wish to view the loading of employees belonging to it (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that the skill has already been defined in the “Competency” business component of Human Resources Management Solution.

Work Group

The work group for which you wish to view the loading of employees (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that the work group is already defined in the “Create Work Group” activity of the “Work Group” business component and is in the “Active” status. Ensure that the work group entered here belongs to the planning group specified in the “Planning Group” field. Data entry in this field is mandatory if you leave the “Planning Group” field blank.

Note: If you have entered a planning group and have not entered a work group, the system retrieves the loading of employees for all the work groups belonging to the planning group.

Planning Group

The planning group for which you wish to view the loading of the employees (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that the planning group is already defined in the “Create Planning Group” activity of the “Maintenance Organization” business component and is in the “Active” status. Data entry in this field is mandatory if you have not entered an employee in the “Employee” field or a work group in the “Work Group” field.

From (Day 1)

The date from which the work order is scheduled to start (Date Format). Data entry in this field is mandatory, if you have specified a work group or a planning group.

To

The date till which the work order is scheduled to complete (Date Format). Ensure that you enter a date later than the date entered in the “From (Day 1)” field.

The system retrieves in the “% Loading” multiline, the employee loading as a percentage for each day starting from the date entered in the “From (Day 1)” field till the date in the “To” field:

Employee

The employee for which the loading is calculated and displayed.

Day 1…Day 15

The percentage of utilization of the employee on each day starting from the date specified in the "From (Day 1)" field till the date specified in the "To" field. The loading is calculated as follows:

 
  • The number of hours for which the employee is available  is ascertained based on the employee calendar that has been  defined in “Payroll Definitions“ business component of Ramco Human Resources Management Solution.

 
  • The total number of hours for which the employee is actually assigned to the work orders is calculated.

 
  • The loading is then calculated by the following formula:

 

Employee Loading = Assigned hours of the employee / Available Hours of the employee * 100

Employee Name

Viewing the loading of employees – An overview

Assignments - A summary of the activity

This page allows you to view the workload as a percentage assigned to the employees responsible for carrying out the work order. You can enter a skill, planning group or a work group and view the workload of the skills belonging to them for the period for which you wish to assign employees to the work order. The system displays the employee loading for each day starting from the date that you have specified as the start date till the end date. If you have not specified any end date, the system displays the employee loading for fifteen days from the start date.
