Viewing the loading of employees – An overview
This page allows you to view the workload as a percentage assigned to the employees responsible for carrying out the work order. You can enter a skill, planning group or a work group and view the workload of the skills belonging to them for the period for which you wish to assign employees to the work order. The system displays the employee loading for each day starting from the date that you have specified as the start date till the end date. If you have not specified any end date, the system displays the employee loading for fifteen days from the start date.
The system calculates the employee loading as follows:
The total number of hours for which the employee can be assigned to work orders in a day is presumed to be 24 hours.
The number of hours for which the employee has actually been assigned to work orders on each day is ascertained.
The system calculates the employee loading as a percentage of the number of hours the employee has been assigned to work orders to the total number of hours for which the employee is available for assignment.
