This page allows you to view the work load as a percentage assigned to the skills. Tell me more.
Select the “Skill Loading” link from the bottom of the “Employee/Skill Assignment” page.
The “Skill Loading” page appears.
Enter the following field if you wish to view the loading of skills attached to a work group other than the work group specified in the previous page:
Work Group |
The work group for which you wish to view the loading of skills (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that the work group entered here belongs to the planning group specified in the “Planning Group” field. Data entry in this field is mandatory if you leave the “Planning Group” field blank. |

Note: If you have entered a planning group and have not entered a work group, the system retrieves the loading of skills for all the work groups belonging to the planning group.
Enter the following in the “Assign. Date.” Field:

The date from which the work order is scheduled to start (Date Format). Data entry in this field is mandatory, if you have specified a work group or a planning group. |

The date till which the work order is scheduled to complete (Date Format). Ensure that you enter a date later than the date entered in the “From (Day 1)” field. |
Note: If you do not enter any date in this field, the system displays the loading details for 15 days starting from the date specified in the “From (Day 1)” field.
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton.
The system retrieves in the “% Loading” multiline, the skills belonging to the work group and/or planning group and the utilization of skills as a percentage for each day starting from the date entered in the “From (Day 1)” field till the date in the “To” field:

Viewing the loading of skills – An overview
This page allows you to view the work load as a percentage assigned to the skills belonging to the work group that is responsible for carrying out the work order. You can view the workload of the skills for the period for which you wish to assign skills to the work order. The system also allows you to view the workload of the skills based on planning group. The system displays the skill loading for each day starting from the date that you have specified as the start date till the end date. If you have not specified any end date, the system displays the skill loading for fifteen days from the start date.
The system calculates the skill loading as follows:
If the skill calendar is defined in the “Competency” business component of Ramco Human Resources Management Solution, then the system retrieves that duration for the given date as the available hours. If calendar is not defined, then the total number of hours for which the skill can be assigned to work orders in a day is presumed to be 24 hours.
The number of hours for which the skill has actually been assigned to work orders on each day is ascertained.
The system calculates the skill loading as a percentage of the number of the hours the skill has been assigned to work orders to the total number of hours for which the skill is available for assignment.
