This page allows you to view the work orders to which the tool is already assigned. Tell me more.
Select the “View Estimated Tools” link from the bottom of the “Tools Assignment” page.
The “View Estimated Tools” page appears.
If you wish to view the details of the estimated tools for a work order other than the work order selected in the previous page, enter the following field:

The work order for which you wish to view the tool estimates (Alphanumeric, 18). |

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the tools estimated for the work order. The description of the work order is retrieved alongside. |

The system retrieves all the tasks that are specified for the work order in the “Tool Reqt.” drop-down list box and retrieves the tools specified for the work order in the multiline:
Enter the following field:

Tools Reqt. |
Use the drop-down list box and select “Additional Reqt.”, to view the tool estimate for the work order. If you wish to view the tool estimates for the task belonging to the work order, select the appropriate task from the drop-down list box. The system displays “Additional Reqt.” by default. |

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the tools estimated for the work order. The description of the task is displayed alongside. |

Click the “Get Details” pushbutton.
The system displays the following fields in the “Estimated Details” multiline:

Tool Code |
The tool specified for the work order or task. |
|
Desc. |
The description of the tool. |
|
Est. Hrs. |
The number of hours for which the tool is required for the completion of the work order. |

Qty. (Nos.) |
The number of tools, required for the completion of the work order. |
|
Tool Cost / Hr. |
The cost per hour of utilizing the tool. |
Click the “Cancel” pushbutton to return to the previous page.
Viewing the work orders to which tool is assigned – An overview
This page allows you to view the work orders to which the tool is already assigned for a specific date. You can view the work orders for tools selected in the “Tools Assignment” page. You can also directly enter a tool in this page and view the work orders to which it is assigned for a specific date.
The system displays the total number of hours for which the tool has been assigned to work orders for the date that you have specified and also retrieves the following details about the work orders:
the work order to which the tool is assigned
the task to which the tool is assigned, if the tool is assigned for carrying out a task
the equipment or location for which the work order is raised
the start and the end time for which the tool is assigned to the work order on the specific date
